The challenge was to establish Wow! China Bistro as a preferred family dining place in Ahmedabad.
Even though WOW! Momo and WOW! China are big brands, we were entering a fine dining place for the first time. So, the customers should feel they will be served desi Chinese food in an urban setting with impeccable service.
Goal
KathaStudio was assigned to launch Wow! China Bistro, through a strong PR strategy, amplified marketing and collaborations.
We planned a stellar panel to engage audiences. Bollywood actress Huma Quereshi’s Tarla Dalal has released that month, and she seemed the right fitment to speak of food story we were trying to create. Along side we invited Gujarat’s superstar Malhar Thakar and renowned chef Saransh Goila for the panel conversation.
We also collaborated with five renowned Master Chefs, including Season’s favourite, Baa, Gurkirat Singh and Kamaldeep Kaur, to build audience connection and keep conversations flowing.
We started influencer activity about two weeks to create a pre-buzz before the event, which attracted the crowd towards the restaurant on a large scale.
Unlike working only big celebrities and influencers, we leveraged local personalities that powerfully connect with the Gujarati audience. This strategy also saved 70% of the client’s budget.
Result
The launch resulted in a huge success, and it was not only the WOW outlet! China Bistro became HOUSEFULL, but the Palladium Mall of Ahmedabad got overcrowded, adding to the skyrocketing sales of all the restaurants on the floor.
The event had ripple effects and created desired result to establish the restaurant in the hearts of Gujaratis.
